In 1993, brothers Michael and Gabriel Hoey established Country Crest to grow and prepack fresh potatoes for the Irish retail sector – on the same land – their family has been farming for over 100 years.
In 2008, they established a prepared meals division, leading to the creation of Ballymaguire Foods.
Today, the Country Crest Group is recognised as one of the largest suppliers of potatoes, sweet potatoes and fresh prepared meals in Ireland, as well as a supplier of premium Bord Bia Quality Assured beef.
