Our mission is:
To combat isolation by creating a social environment for people with special needs and their families that supports their development and inclusion as valued members of the community. People with special needs initially require an environment where social skills can be taught and nurtured. They need to be able to experience the same social activities as other people, but in surroundings adapted to their needs and where they feel comfortable and not threatened or scared. A place where they can interact with each other and with their families without feeling they are different and don’t belong. All this is done through social clubs providing various activities/outings/Easter & Summer camps, family Respite trips away and much more check out our website www.rememberus.ie for all information

Balbriggan Cancer Support Group was established in 2010 to support people diagnosed with cancer, their family and friends in Balbriggan and North County Dublin. Our services are designed to care for the whole person, supporting physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing at every stage of the cancer journey. All our services are free and confidential.
We understand that a cancer diagnosis and treatment can have lasting psychological and emotional effects. We believe no one should face their cancer journey alone. We are devoted to maintaining a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment.
We offer a drop-in service where our trained and compassionate team is on hand to provide information, practical and emotional support. We will welcome you to our centre and explore which of our supports are services best suits your needs.
Coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis can be very difficult our counselling service provides a safe and confidential space to explore your feelings and develop coping strategies.
We offer a range of therapeutic services, including reflexology and reiki, to promote relaxation and wellbeing.
We run a number of weekly wellness and social activity classes in our centre. We organise various workshops, information talks and provide regular clinics like our bra-fitting service.
