Ardgillan Demense

Ardgillan Demense is an absolutely stunning location and a must for any visitors to the region. Locals love Ardgillan and many, many people make the most of its beauty for regular walks and visits to one of its two coffee shops. It also runs a series of classes all year round in the Castle and hosts many exhibitions.

Beaches

Because of our location on the coast we have more beaches than we can list. From the sandy front beach beside the Harbour, to the stony beaches south of the town between Balbriggan and Skerries, or the lovely walks you can take between Balbriggan to Gormanston there is a variety of landscape to become absorbed in.

Walks

A walk around the Harbour on a nice day, through the Town Park along the Bracken river, under the Eleven Arches, and around to the lighthouse is a pleasure. You might even see the seals as the fishing boats move in and out of the harbour.
