Transport & Infrastructure

As the Town grows it is important that the structures that sustain the Town keep pace with the development.

In particular the Transport & Infrastructure Group keep an overview on the road network in the town, its development, its repair and plans for the future.

Also the group look at how people travel to and from the Town - looking at the rail and bus network. We submitted comments to the RPA suggesting that the Metro could be extended to Balbriggan so as to open up another travel channel.  We have lobbied for the extension of the DART to Balbriggan.

The development of the Bremore Port Facility will also impact on the infrastructure of the Town.
